Messaging terms

KinBridge Health text reminders

Text reminders are optional. You will only ever receive a text from us if you asked for one on a number you confirmed is yours. Here is exactly what that means.

What we send, and how often

Follow-up reminders about your own medical claims: a provider promised you a corrected bill, an appeal deadline is approaching, or a letter we drafted is ready for you to read. Message frequency varies with what is happening on your account — typically a few messages a month, and none at all in a quiet month. We never send marketing texts.

Who receives them

Only the account holder, on a mobile number they entered themselves and confirmed with a one-time code, after ticking an unticked consent box. We do not text care recipients, family members, providers or insurers. We do not buy, sell or share phone numbers, and phone numbers are never shared with third parties for marketing.

How to stop

Reply STOP to any message and the texts end immediately — that is permanent until you turn them back on yourself. You can also switch text reminders off in the app at any time. Stopping texts never affects your account, your claims or anything you have paid for.

How to get help

Reply HELP to any message, or email support@kinbridgehealth.com. Message and data rates may apply — those are your carrier's charges, not ours. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Examples of what arrives

  • KinBridge Health: Mercy Imaging said "itemized bill in the mail" by Mar 14. If nothing arrived, call back today. Reply STOP to opt out.
  • KinBridge Health: your appeal letter for Mercy Imaging is ready to review in the app. Reply STOP to opt out.
  • KinBridge Health: Blue Shield's appeal deadline for your Mar 2 claim is in 7 days. Reply STOP to opt out.

The consent you are shown

This is the wording next to the consent box in the app, stored with your account and a timestamp whenever you turn text reminders on:

By turning on text reminders you agree to receive automated follow-up texts from KinBridge Health about your claims and provider promises. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase or of using KinBridge. See our Messaging Terms and Privacy Policy.

Consent is never bundled with anything else, the box is never pre-ticked, and consent is not a condition of purchase or of using KinBridge.
