Patient self-service

Invite your loved one to their own account.

Caregiver helping an older woman use a phone app

When the patient wants agency over their profile, insurance, and ailments, one tap sends a branded invite. They land on a simplified home — no caregiver plumbing, no risk of accidental edits to the family circle.

  • 14-day one-time invite tokens, revocable in one tap.
  • Zero access to caregiver-side workflows (claims, meds, vitals feed).
  • Live sign-out on revoke — password is rotated automatically.
  • Perfect for lucid patients who want to review their own PHI.
Learn about patient portal

How the patient portal fits in

Caregiving works best when the person being cared for is not treated as a file. Many older adults want to see their own appointments, understand their own medications and correct the details everyone else keeps getting wrong.

The patient portal gives them their own way in. The primary caregiver sends a single invite; the care recipient sets a password and sees a deliberately simple view — upcoming appointments, current medications, recent visit summaries, and a short list of anything they have been asked to do.

They can contribute too. Confirming that a medication was actually stopped, flagging a symptom before the next appointment, or noting that a phone number has changed saves a caregiver a phone call and makes the record more accurate than a second-hand account ever is.

Access is designed for real families. Invites expire, can be resent or revoked, and the primary caregiver stays in control of what is shared. If a care recipient's abilities change, the portal can be scaled back or switched off without losing any history.

Everything they see is the same record the circle sees, so there is no separate version of the truth to reconcile later.

Frequently asked questions

Does the care recipient need to be technical?
No. The portal is a short, large-type view with no dashboards to configure — appointments, medications, summaries and requests.
How long does an invite stay valid?
Invites expire after 14 days. You can resend or revoke an invite at any time from the care circle screen.
Can they see claims and financial information?
Only if you choose to share it. By default the portal focuses on care rather than claims and billing.
What if they want to delete their information?
They can request a copy or deletion of their data at any time through our data request form, and we respond within 30 days.
